I really enjoyed the canal cruise. I especially liked that there were audio guides in every language. I loved learning so much about the history of Amsterdam!

The cruise itself was very enjoyable. However, I had booked a ticket for a 10h00 cruise and, when I arrived, I was told it had been cancelled and that I had to go somewhere else to catch a boat at 10h15. Despite having my previously contacted me via WhatsApp & e-mail, I never received any message either before or after the cruise informing me of the time change or apologising for any inconvenience.

First all all, the weather was great, water is claimed so we are very lucky. Secondly, the captain is funny, we have lot of laughs. Lastly, the audio tour is one of the good one that we have been experienced, because it doesn't talk all the time where leave space for people talk and share through

A very comprehensive tour, which coincided with sunset, allowing me to enjoy the canals by day and with the magic of nighttime and its lighting. I consider it essential for a first encounter with the city or if you don't have much time. The guide was truly dedicated.

You see a lot of Amsterdam and learn a lot with great commentary. It was a very cold day but it didn't matter as the boat was covered and heated. The trip was very affordable too. This is a 'must do' activity if you visit Amsterdam.

Everything was good. The only thing I didn’t like was that the boat was so overcrowded and there was no option to choose your own seat, which meant you might have to sit in the middle aisle without a proper view outside.

Everything is perfectly visible through the glass panes, unlike boats with plastic sheeting. Nice and warm in winter because the boat is closed, but you can open the roof to create a springtime feeling. We can recommend it!

Very good tour and very good guide. The captain was very funny and very confident in driving the boat. The air conditioning was very good; it was very cold outside, but inside it was perfect.

  • Panoramic views: All vessels feature large, panoramic windows and often glass roofs, providing continuous, unobstructed views of the city's architecture and bridges.
  • Audioguide: High-quality, GPS-triggered audioguides are available in several languages to provide context on the landmarks you pass.
  • Accessibility: Most departure points and boats offer facilities for easy boarding; check the specific product for details.

Things to know before booking Stromma canal tours
